Results
-Most of the Original Four have adventure due to their typical shonen/shoujo influences and their will to save the world on a happy note.
-Each of the New Trio have a different genre to stand out – GC is Romance (due to Shu’s love for Inori), Puella has the Horror genre (It is the only one of the seven that counts as Seinen. It is the first time it’s added to Kanius’ production since the author is a huge fan of the genre.), SAO has Drama.
--SAO is the only one of the New Trio that has ‘Adventure’.
-Due to this, Puella is the darkest out of all. Thank you Gen Urobuchi.

-GC and Puella are the only ones that are anime originals when first made. (Sailor Moon, YYH, Yugioh are originated from mangas. Digimon is originally from virtual pet company. SAO is base on a light novel.
-Sailor Moon, Digimon, YYH, Yugioh are originated in the 1990s. Digimon Tamers, Frontier, Data Squad, GX, 5Ds, and SAO are made in the 2000s. GC and Puella are made in the 2010s.
-Sailor Moon and Puella are the only two that’s generally market for a female audience.
-GC is the least known anime out of all the seven.
-Divergence of Timelines: YYH in official canon time set is in the 1990s, while YYGDM is the early 2000s. Yugioh 5Ds takes place years after GX in official canon, while YYGDM makes it taking place in the 30th century. GC’s official time is in the 2030s, while LK is set in 2022. SAO starts in 2022, while after LK begins in 2023.
-Both SAO and Yugioh have similarities of gaming.
-Least to most amount of Fanfics: Guilty Crown, Puella, SAO, Yugioh 5Ds, Yugioh GX, YYH, Sailor Moon, Digimon, Yugioh.
--It’s obvious because the franchise is originally titled ‘YugiohDigimon’ and how Yugioh inspires many strategies of card games, especially the foundation of the Abridged series.
-Aside from the monsters (Witches/Wraiths), side mangas and stuff; Puella has the least amount of characters, though it makes up for great characterization.
Original Four
-YYH is the only one that is more bloody and edgy. It is the least known out of all the four.
-The Yugioh franchise has the biggest amount of episodes, Digimon has the second amount, Sailor Moon is third, while YYH has the least amount.
-In the US, Sailor Moon and Digimon become prominent in the late 1990s, while Yugioh and YYH arrive in the early 2000s.
-Before becoming Duel Monsters themselves, the Yugioh characters are the weakest of all the four hero groups.
New Trio
-GC and Puella are made in the 2010s, while SAO is made in 2009 as a light novel but gain prominence in 2012 thanks to the anime.
-SAO has the most amount of episodes. Puella has the least amount of episodes, other than the three movies.
--Puella (12 episodes), Guilty Crown (22 episodes), SAO (49 episodes total)
-Going from darkest to lightest: Puella, GC, and SAO.
